📅 Match Schedule

Starts: Friday at 12:00
Ends: Sunday at 22:00
Sign-On: Anytime over the weekend

• You’ll receive a code word upon signing on
• Match card can either be collected from the Angling Centre or downloaded and printed from website/Facebook, if you are unable to print the card you can use a blank sheet of paper, but it must contain the following information: Code word, Species & Length and must be written clearly.
• Match fee: if you are signing on other than at the Angling Centre you can pay either the next time you are in the Angling Centre or by BACS.

📍 Fishing Area

• any shorline on the UK mainland, including the Isle of Wight.

🧒 Juniors (13 years old & under) £5 entry split 50% 30% 20% can enter senior pool at £2 extra.

• Count all fish under 18cm (including mini species) as 2points.
• Total points scored used to determine winner
• 1st Place: Highest total points
• 2nd Place: Second highest
• 3rd Place: Third highest

🧑 14 years old and up Entry Fee: £10

• Use standard SAMF points chart
• £2 to Pool Prize (Longest Nominated Fish) if not won it will roll over,
• £8 split: 1st (50%), 2nd (30%), 3rd (20%)
• Two highest scoring fish of different species will determine the winner
• Record all species and length on match card

📸 Photo Rules (Both Age Groups)

• Submit photos of your 2 highest scoring fish (different species)
• Must be shown:
  • On a match measure (length visible to nearest cm)
  • With membership card and code word in photo
• Submit photo and match card by no later  22:10 on Sunday.

📝 Match Card Submission

• Include:
  • All species caught and length
  • Longest fish of each species to be highlighted
• Must be submitted with photos no later 22:10 on Sunday

🏆 Prizes for 14yrs and up.

Main Prizes (based on 2 highest scoring fish of different species):

• 1st Place: Highest total points
• 2nd Place: Second highest
• 3rd Place: Third highest

Pool Prize:

• Longest nominated fish (a different species will be nominated for each match) if none caught prize will rollover.

⚖️ Tiebreakers

1. Longest single fish of the highest value
2. If still tied, longest fish of next highest value, and so on
3. If still tied, prize is shared

📜 General Rules

1. Match runs Friday 12:00 – Sunday 22:00
2. Guest must be accompanied by club member whilst fishing the competition
3. Sign-on required to receive code word
4. Catch & Release format (fish may be retained for table/bait/records)
5. Club General Competition Rules apply unless specified
6. Points based on SAMF species chart. Under 13yrs will use modified chart.
7. All fish measured and recorded to down  nearest cm
8. Match card can be handed in or photo sent anytime over the weekend but no later than 22:10 on the Sunday.
9. Winners will be notified.
